| ESA Terms and Conditions, page 3 IMPORTANT a. For AXON equipment NOT covered by an Extended Service Agreement, see Paragraph B. EMERGENCY SERVICE for the required procedure to obtain service coverage. b. This Agreement only covers AXON manufactured equipment including the Axon/8000 or Axon/4000 chassis and integral power supplies, AXON plug in circuit modules, Axon Station Interface Unit(s), and the Message Storage Unit. c. Items not covered by this Agreement include any and all equipment NOT manufactured by AXON, including but not limited to: any terminal CRTs, keyboards, printers, monitors, modems, PC subsystems, concentrators, voice mail systems, remote printers, etc. (Extended service programs may be available through the manufacturers of these items. Contact Customer Service for details.) d. NOTE: Any Model 8131 Message Storage Unit, or any 3M Tape Backup Drive installed in a Model 8132 Message Storage Unit, is not covered under this Agreement after August 31, 2003. e. The Extended Service Agreement only covers failure conditions caused by normal wear and use. The purchaser is responsible for failures caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect (failure to maintain); by unauthorized alteration or repair; by accidents; by lightning strikes; by floods; or by any other factors beyond the control of Axon. The purchaser is responsible for any on-site field service at the rate of $750 per 8-hour day, plus all expenses and plus any other on site costs connected with any repair. f. The customer is responsible for all shipping and other handling charges for all parts and software shipped to the customer. Shipping charges for returned items are the customer's responsibility and must be via 2nd day Air PREPAID (to assure that maximum care is taken while handling parts and equipment). g. The use of other than AXON factory-supplied parts or software to repair your system immediately voids this agreement. h. On-site service is NOT a part of this Agreement. On-site service, if provided by AXON, will be billed at $750 per 8-hour day plus expenses. i. CANADIAN CUSTOMERS: please refer to Paragraph H. Page 3 of 7 |
